#1. Stay in Vancouver
Website Recovery, Platform Rebuild & Ongoing Digital Support
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Stay in Vancouver is a furnished-rental company offering accommodations throughout Vancouver. My work began with periodic WordPress maintenance and later expanded into a complete website recovery and rebuild after changes to the Hostaway booking platform caused the original website setup to fail.
Working within Hostaway’s limited website builder, I created a new customer-facing website, reconnected the company’s domain and booking pathways, organized property content, and coordinated technical services across Hostaway, SiteGround, Namecheap and Cloudflare. I continue to support the client through website maintenance, listings, SEO updates and digital advertising creative.

Platforms: WordPress, Hostaway, SiteGround, Meta, Google & Facebook Ads
THE CHALLENGE
The original WordPress website relied on Hostaway for its listings and booking functionality. When that connection stopped working, the public-facing website became unusable.
Hostaway provided access to the client’s property-management account, but it did not provide a complete customer website. The replacement address had listings and booking tools, but no established homepage, About page, Contact page, review experience or clear visitor navigation.
The challenge was to rebuild the essential website experience inside a restricted platform while preserving the existing domain, reconnecting the listings and keeping the project within the client’s budget.
MY ROLE
I worked directly with the client throughout the recovery, rebuild and ongoing support of the website. My role combined web design, platform administration, technical coordination, content management and campaign creative.
RECOVERING AND RECONNECTING THE WEBSITE
Before rebuilding the website, I reviewed how the client’s domain, hosting, booking system and third-party services were connected. The setup involved WordPress, Hostaway, SiteGround, Namecheap and Cloudflare, with different providers controlling different parts of the website.
I transferred the domain from Namecheap to SiteGround, coordinated the custom-domain connection with Hostaway and updated the necessary A and CNAME records. I also created a temporary maintenance page so customers would not use the outdated WordPress booking experience during the transition.
Once the technical structure was stabilized, I rebuilt the public-facing website within Hostaway and connected it to the client’s established stayinvancouver.ca domain.
WEBSITE STRATEGY
Because Hostaway offered fewer design and customization options than WordPress, the website was structured around the most important guest tasks: finding a property, reviewing essential details and continuing to booking or contact.

VISUAL & RESPONSIVE DIRECTION
The visual direction used Vancouver and property imagery to establish place, comfort and trust. Blue, white and charcoal supported the company’s existing identity while keeping the website professional and easy to scan.
The desktop experience provided more space for search controls, featured properties and destination imagery. Mobile layouts prioritized simple navigation, readable property information, large images and clear booking actions.
CUSTOM REVIEWS EXPERIENCE
To strengthen social proof, I created a dedicated Reviews page within Hostaway. I researched layout options, added custom HTML, connected a Formspree review form and transferred selected guest reviews from Airbnb and existing property listings.
I also updated the Home and About pages and added SEO titles, descriptions and metadata
ONGOING WEBSITE SUPPORT
Following the rebuild, I continued managing the website as the client’s needs evolved. This included troubleshooting errors, restoring missing listings, creating new rental and vehicle listings, configuring booking calendars and coordinating with technical support when platform issues required escalation.
I also recreated the company logo as a scalable vector file, updated property feature sheets and prepared PDF and PowerPoint materials for client use.
DIGITAL MARKETING SUPPORT
My role later expanded into digital marketing support. I created static graphics and short promotional videos for Facebook and Google campaigns, adapting content across different ad formats while maintaining a consistent connection to the website.

OUTCOME
The project restored a functional online path for guests while giving the client a clearer and more centralized digital setup. Property discovery, website content, booking access and campaign creative were brought into a more consistent customer experience across desktop and mobile.
What began as periodic WordPress maintenance developed into a long-term client relationship covering website recovery, platform administration, technical troubleshooting, content management and digital marketing support.
#2. TSL Urban Homes
Website Strategy, Content Development & WordPress Design
PROJECT OVERVIEW
TSL Urban Homes is a Lower Mainland construction and property-services company offering residential construction, renovation, excavation and furnished-rental services.
The client needed a complete professional website but did not have a defined website structure, prepared copy or a usable image library. I independently developed the site from the ground up, researching the industry and local competitors, identifying the intended audience, organizing the service offering, writing and refining the content, sourcing licensed imagery and creating the complete visual presentation.
The final website established a credible digital presence that clearly communicates the company’s experience, services and completed work.

Services: Research · Website Strategy · Content Development · Responsive Design · Licensed Image Sourcing · Logo Refinement · WordPress Development
THE CHALLENGE
The project began without an established website plan, written page content or a consistent collection of project photography. The client needed the website to explain several connected areas of the business—including construction, renovation, excavation and furnished rentals—without overwhelming visitors or weakening the company’s primary message.
The challenge was to transform limited starting materials into a clear, trustworthy and professional website that would appeal to homeowners, contractors and property clients throughout the Lower Mainland.
RESEARCH AND DIRECTION
I reviewed local construction and excavation websites to understand common customer expectations, service presentation and industry positioning. This helped establish a practical content hierarchy focused on credibility, experience, service clarity and completed work.
I also identified the visual qualities needed to appeal to the target audience: dependable, established, capable and locally relevant.
THE SOLUTION
I planned, designed and developed the complete WordPress website, creating the content structure and visual system from the ground up. I organized the company’s services into clear sections, prepared the written content, sourced and licensed relevant imagery, refined the existing logo and built responsive layouts for desktop and mobile.
The website was designed to help visitors quickly understand who the company is, what it offers and how to explore its services or make contact.
MY ROLE
LOGO WORDING
Refined the existing logo by cleaning its edges and preparing it for clearer digital reproduction.
KEY FEATURE AND SERVICES
VISUAL DIRECTION
The existing logo provided the foundation for the site’s blue, orange, white and charcoal palette. Blue communicates trust and professionalism, while orange adds energy and highlights important actions.
Large construction and property imagery gives the company an established, capable presence. Clear typography, generous spacing and strong service headings help visitors scan the site quickly.
THE OUTCOME
The completed website gave TSL Urban Homes a professional and organized online presence where none had previously existed. It brought the company’s services, experience, projects and related business divisions into one clear digital destination.
The project demonstrates my ability to independently guide a website from initial research and content planning through visual design, WordPress development and launch.
#3. Spectrum Skyworks
Graphic and Website Designer & Marketing Manager
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Spectrum Skyworks is a specialized glazing company providing custom skylights, curtain walls, storefronts, railings, glass canopies and restoration services for residential and commercial projects.
I joined the company full-time as a Graphic Designer and became responsible for updating and expanding its visual communications across web, print and digital marketing. Approximately 75% of my work supported Spectrum Skyworks, while the remaining portion supported its affiliated company, Dayliter.
My responsibilities included website redesign and maintenance, trade-show and print materials, social media, onsite photography and the setup and management of recurring Constant Contact email campaigns.

Platforms & Tools: WordPress · HTML/CSS · Photoshop · Illustrator · InDesign · DSLR Photography
Services: Website redesign · Print collateral · Trade-show graphics · Email marketing · Social media · Photography · Brand support
THE CHALLENGE
Spectrum Skyworks had an established business and recognizable industry experience, but its visual materials were inconsistent and several core assets were not suitable for modern digital or large-format use.
The company needed a more cohesive presentation across its website, trade-show materials, stationery, newsletters, social media and promotional products. It also required a clearer way to organize a large portfolio of residential, commercial and restoration projects for prospective clients.
The challenge was to modernize the company’s communications while preserving its existing recognition and supporting the daily needs of a busy construction and glazing business.
MY ROLE
WEBSITE REDESIGN
During my time with the company, I redesigned and maintained the company website to provide a clearer overview of its specialized glazing services, project types and completed work. The information architecture was reorganized around residential, commercial and restoration projects, supported by dedicated product categories and project case studies.
Large architectural imagery, clear navigation and expandable galleries allowed visitors to explore the company’s capabilities without overcrowding the pages.
INTEGRATED MARKETING SUPPORT
My role extended beyond the website into ongoing marketing communications. I designed and distributed monthly e-newsletters, established the company’s social-media presence and created coordinated materials for trade shows, customer outreach and internal business use.
Maintaining consistency across digital and printed formats helped the company present a more recognizable and professional identity at every customer touchpoint.
PROJECT PHOTOGRAPHY
I photographed completed installations on location and prepared the images for website galleries, case studies, newsletters, social media and print collateral. This gave Spectrum a more authentic visual library and reduced its reliance on generic imagery.
DAYLITER SUPPORT
Alongside my primary responsibilities for Spectrum Skyworks, I devoted approximately 25% of my role to design and website support for its affiliated company, Dayliter. This included adapting marketing materials, maintaining digital content and supporting its related brand requirements.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
OUTCOME
My work gave Spectrum Skyworks a broader and more consistent visual communication system that supported its website, marketing campaigns, trade-show presence and ongoing business development.
The role demonstrates my ability to work successfully as an in-house designer, manage varied priorities and carry a brand across websites, photography, print production, email marketing, social media and promotional materials.
